The Museum Mile

Bonn's Museum Mile stretches for over 3kms and is home to some of the most popular cultural exhibits, many of which pay homage to the former status as the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany).


Include are the Museum of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Alexander Koenig Zoological Research Institute and the Bonn Museum of Art. Annually these institutions celebrate the Museum Mile Festival together for four days of interactive events.

Beethoven Festival

Begin at Beethoven House in central Bonn, now home to several exhibits and his last grand piano, before making your way to the city's famous bronze Beethoven statue. In autumn the International Bonn Beethoven Festival attracts thousands of music lovers from all around the world, with more than 50 concerts taking place over a four week period.
