How much luggage can I bring with me?

If you are travelling by car there is no limit to the amount of luggage you can carry in your vehicle as it will remain in your vehicle on our car deck.

 

For foot passengers travelling to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Latvia and Poland, there is no limit on the amount of luggage you can bring with you, however you need to be able to carry it onboard yourself.  

 

For foot passengers travelling to France, to Ireland and to the UK from Ireland,  there is no limit to the amount of luggage you can bring with you, however, hand luggage must be no larger than 60cm x 50cm x 40cm and you must be able to carry it yourself.  If you are travelling with luggage that is larger than this it must be checked-in prior to boarding.  Your luggage will be safely stowed during the sailing and can be collected upon arrival in the terminal. You will not be able to access your luggage during the sailing so please ensure you remove all necessary items before checking it in.

 

If you are travelling by foot or by Rail & Sail on our Harwich-Hook of Holland route, you may take two pieces of luggage, weighing up to 20Kg in total, in addition to hand luggage.

 

Passengers travelling on a day trip on our Irish Sea or North Sea routes may carry one piece of small hand luggage. Any additional pieces of luggage will be charged at our discretion.

 

When travelling between the UK and the EU there are restrictions on what you can carry. Please ensure you are familiar with these rules prior to travel.
