The Stena Line Port at Holyhead is located on Anglesey Island in North Wales. It is conveniently situated at the end of the A55 dual carriageway approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes drive from the city of Chester, 2 hours from Liverpool city, 2 hours and 20 minutes from Manchester city and 3 hours and 15 minutes from Birmingham city. If you are travelling from the London and the South it will take between 5 and 6 hours driving by car. There is a Travelodge hotel in Holyhead town centre and there are other hotels and supermarkets in the locality.
There is a large long stay parking lot available with a park and ride facility servicing the main Terminal 1.
Payments using the card machine provided in the parking lot can be made by cash or credit card.

The Railway Station in Holyhead can easily accessed from Terminal 1 at the port Port. The Stena Line main ferry terminal at Dublin Port is located approx. 4 miles east of Dublin city centre. There is extensive signage on all the main roads leading to the port giving clear directions.
Parking Lot - There are 30 spaces available at the port
Short-term parking rate: €2.00 per hour (minimum charge €1.00)
Daily parking rate: €9.00 per 24 hour (or part thereof)
Long-term parking rate: €50.00 per 7 days
There is a drop-off / pick-up / short term parking area available outside the main terminal building. Tickets can be purchased from the parking machine. It accepts credit / bank debit cards for payment as well as Euro coins but does not accept notes.
Please be sure that ticket you have purchased covers your proposed length of stay. Please display a valid parking ticket on the dashboard of your vehicle for the full duration of your stay. Failure to do so could result in your vehicle being clamped, the release fee is €80.00.
Please note that the machine only accepts Euro coins. Lost tickets are charged at full weekly rate.
For all foot passengers who are travelling from Dublin Port, please avail of the coach service that will bring you from Dublin City Centre to the Stena Line Terminal in Dublin Port. The coach departs from Westmoreland Street in Dublin City Centre at approx. 07:15hrs arriving for the 08:20hrs sailing and 19:00hrs arriving for the 20:30hrs sailing.
The fares for this coach service are as follows;
On the arrival off the 02:30hrs and 13:50hrs sailings from Holyhead to the Stena Line Terminal 2 building at Dublin Port, there is a coach service available which will transfer you directly to Dublin City Centre, stopping at Connolly DART and Rail Station (for local and national connections to the North and West) and Westmoreland Street for Dublin city centre.
There is also a drop off point at Heuston Rail Station (for national services to the West, South West and South).
