Follow the A14 until you are close to Ipswich, then join the A12 which is signposted to Colchester and London. You should follow the A12 for 12 miles, then take the exit signposted Colchester and Harwich (A120). Take the first exit at the roundabout and join the A120 sign-posted Harwich. The A120 will take you directly to Harwich Old Town, with exits to the Harwich International Port and to Dovercourt.
From the M25, follow the A12 until you are near Colchester, pass exits to Colchester West and Colchester Central. Take the next exit, marked Harwich (A120) which will take you directly to Harwich Old Town, with exits to the International Port.
Parking Lot - Charges from 1st January 2014
Parking machines accept payment by cash or credit card only. Please note that there is a lost ticket charge of £85. Every effort has been made to ensure that the car park is safe and secure, however, vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.
The National Express East Anglia train services take you directly to Harwich International station which is located conveniently next to the main terminal building from where you can board your Stena Line ferry to Holland.

Local buses serve Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Port and Dovercourt.

Short and long term parking lots are available one minute walk from the main terminal building. Tickets need to be purchased using a bank debit / credit cards from the ticket machine provided before you collect your car. Please Note – Do NOT leave your parking ticket in the car. Short and long term car pars are unattended.
Starting from the 1st of April, 2017, the Dutch Railways (NS) will discontinue the Hook of Holland to Schiedam Centrum route. The RET takes over this route from the Dutch Railways and will start servicing this route with metro vehicles. Rails and systems will be converted to Metro lines.
There are local bus services to The Hague and Delft from the Hook of Holland Port. More information can be found on www.9292ov.nl (Website is in Dutch only).
Taxis can be pre-booked at the Information Desk in the main ferry terminal building on arrival. Taxis serve the local area as well as destinations further afield.
