Directions to Ventspils & Nynäshamn Ports

If you are driving from Riga you can reach the Stena Line terminal in Ventspils via the A10 expressway.

If driving from Liepaja you reach the terminal via the P111 expressway. When you arrive in Ventspils, please follow the signs "Prāmju terminalis".

Please note that you must submit all passports for those traveling and also the vehicle documents when checking-in.

To get to the Stena Line terminal in Ventspils, take the best intercity buses (Ventspils Reiss, Nordeka). Get off at the bus terminal in Ventspils, from there the ferry terminal is a 7 minute walk.

If you are driving from Stockholm, take expressway 73 a distance of 37.5 miles to Nynäshamn.  Travel to Telia Road / Nynäsvägen which leads directly to the Stena Line ferry terminal. 

If you are driving from the west or south Sweden, take road 225 between Södertälje (E4) and Nynashamn (about 31 miles).  Continue through Nynashamn to Nynäsvägen and then take the first right turn, about 150 yards, which leads to the ferry terminal. 

It is also possible to continue on the E4 expressway towards Haninge and then take route 259 from Haninge to Nynashamn.  This is a better route, but it is about 12.5 miles further.  

Please note that check-in also takes place in the cargo terminal, follow signs for freight vehicles.

You can travel from Stockholm to Nynäshamn by train.  It takes approximately 1 hour.  Please note that the train station is 5 minutes’ walk from the main ferry terminal.

There are regular buses to Nynäshamn from Södertälje and Stockholm.
