Will ferry travel be affected during the transition period?
The UK have now entered the 'Transition Period', following their exit from the European Union and will last until 31st December 2020. During this period, EU rules and regulations will continue to apply and therefore any ferry travel between UK and EU will be the same as it was before and your travel plans between now and 31 st December 2020 will not be affected.
Travel between UK and Ireland will not change. British and Irish citizens will be able to continue to travel freely within the 'Common Travel Area', which includes UK and Ireland.
